The Watermelon Gang hits the farm

Here are some more farm pictures. Reese was not a fan of all the piglets (that aren't so much piglets any more). They were a little too pushy and loud for her.
She got to go for a ride on our Lady. It took some convincing for her mother to let her go but Reese I think had a good time.

Then Kaj had to go for a ride.

Brandi was keeping track of the kids at the dairy farm. She couldn't get reese to not holder her hand or to slow down.

The Watermelon Gang strikes again!

Reese and Brandi heading out on the farm. Reese likes to do her own thing usually so her mom was a little surprised when she would hold Brandi's hand. Brandi was a little surprised that Reese wouldn't let go of it.

I got more pictures from Rebecca so I guess you (whoever you is out there) another posting today. Here is Reese and Kaj diligently washing their hands.
While Kaj is distracted Reese is going to bury Kaj using just that little plastic spoon. He will never know what hit him.

This was definately at the beginning of the picnic while the blanket was still spread out and the food still on the plates and everyone sitting. This lasted all of 2 minutes.

Picnic With Reese

We had a wonderful picnic on the lake with Grandparents, friends and Reese. Reese is my step sister Laura's daughter and is three months younger than Kaj. You would never know it though. Here she is slamming a shot down she got from Grandma.
It was pretty good.

I think she is thinking she wants some more...

She wants more and is checking out to see what Kaj has. It was pretty funny to see Rebecca trying to fill up their cups before they would pull them out from under the spigot. All in all a great night.

Happy Tuesday

This weekend we go some things accomplished around the house and then went to a wedding reception for one of my high school classmates. Kaj got to stay with his girlfriend Sienna and they had a great time. She went nuts when I pulled up to drop off Kaj. Brandi got to stay with her Grammy and Papa. She also got a big surprise because her mother was back. Both kids had a great time. I have to tell you though it is only our third time in 2 years kidless and the last time was only a month ago. So we walked around the house for awhile just wondering what to do. It was a good night though with the party.

Kaj is definately going through the terrible twos. He can talk pretty well so he is going through the I want that I don't want that, I want a ride, and then throw a fit if he doesn't get to do it. Also Brandi is figuring out that she can tease him and get a great reaction. Those two are just crazy. Other than that same old same old. Work, water plants, feed children, and go to bed. I wouldn't change it for anything.

This is after the fireworks. Brandi didn't make it home awake. Kaj did buy he doesn't look so good. Only 2 + hours past bed time.

Brandi in the Devil Track River down by the neighbors cabin. They have a big 4th of July picnic. It is super fun and the kids were just toast after the long day.

This picture does not even come close to showing how dirty he was. But it was a good day and he had a lot of fun whatever it was.

Kaj is really into putting on other people's shoes. These are Brandi's. He actually could walk pretty good in them.
