Still broken
So I just figured out the whole making a title for my entries and it dawned on me that I love to come up with titles. They are not always that clever but I have way to many titles for my book that I will some day write, so I will use them here. This last week was pretty quiet without Brandi. Kaj got to go for a little 4-wheeler ride every night. It is amazing how he just crawls right over to them. The kids at daycare are convinced that he has started walking(it was just one step on his own and he hasn't done it since Tuesday)and that he has started talking. He is definately imitating us. He had his first campfire last night too. Brandi is now 7. At some point we are going to have her friends over for a sleepover but boy did things just get busy here with only 3 weeks before school.
The dock for downloading pictures is still at Kodak for analysis, but I am hoping to get something back here shortly.
This weekend is a 5 hour one way road trip with the kids. Wish us luck!

Happy Monday Everyone! This last week was Fisherman's Picnic so there was a lot to do. The bank had an ice cream social on Friday and Brandi came to help me scoop ice cream for five hours. Then on Saturday we went up the trail to meet Matt and Emma, who are the grandchildren of some friends of ours. Matt and Emma are twins that are the same age as Brandi. The swam for about 3 hours straight. Then it was back down the trail and Brandi and Kaj were off to have their first sleepover with My Dad and Rebecca. When I picked them up in the morning everyone was still standing and had smiles on their faces. Then on Sunday it was time for the parade. Kaj got pushed in the stroller in the Grand Marais State Bank float and Brandi rode her 4-wheeler in the ATV club float. Dad rode with her but on his own 4-wheeler. She did an inspection of the 4-wheelers before the parade and she was not impressed with the wash job that Dad had done. There were still some dirty spots(underneath the 4-wheelers) and she thought 2 of her tires were flat. Next year I think she might be washing the 4-wheelers! All in all not a bad weekend.
I still can't get pictures off of the camera but when I finally can there will be quite a few to download.
