So I wish I had a picture of the lazy men chopping wood. Kaj, Brandi and I went over to Uncle Rob's to drop off something for him. We drive up and Skinner is operating the hydrolic log splitter and Uncle Rob is using the mini excavator to pick up the wood and put it onto the spliter and then to stack it after it is split. Does it get any lazier than that!?
So Brandi wanted to stay. Her Dad said she could but she would have to sit on the 4-wheeler and watch so they knew where she was. That all went fine for awhile and then Skinner looked at the 4-wheeler and she was not on it. It looked around a bit and found she had moved about 10 feet eyeing up the pile of wood yet to be split. She had noticed a bit of a problem. Some of the wood was out of Uncle Rob's reach unless he moved the mini and it was pointed in the wrong direction so he would have to do some nudging of the wood to get it to where he could pick it up. So she started right in moving wood closer to Rob and then running out of his way or turning pieces of wood so that he could easily clamp on to them. Not bad for a 7 year old. She is a pretty smart little cookie and a very hard worker. Unlike her Dad and Uncle Rob who I will say they are innovative but a little lazy! I am so going to be in trouble for that if either of them read this!
