Quick story from last night. Kaj took his first ride out of the yard on his tryke. We went down to the raspberries on the road to the cabin. Kaj would peddle like crazy and then see a raspberry and vear straight for the berries and the ditch. Amazingly he would stop before wipping out into the bush. It was pretty funny to watch. He made it just about to the road to the pond and back home again on his tryke. I thought for sure I would be hauling it home.
Brandi swam out to a rock on Seagull Lake at the Blankenberg Landing. It is a great sand beach. We went up the trail for a 4 wheeler ride and to pick blueberries. Then we had to go swimming and have a picnic to cool off.
I think that those legs have not seen the sun almost as long as Grandpa Jim's

Brandi learning how to work the riding lawn mower. I don't know why we didn't have her practice in the lawn and get something accomplished but she just went around the shop. The pedals are still a little too far away.
Skinner almost weed whipped this baby bird in the yard. At one point there were two of them by a barrel of flowers. They were chirping so loud for their Mom you could hear it over the lawn mower. She moved them somewhere else after a few hours. We weren't sure what kind of bird it was.
