Theresa was right

My friend Theresa had a daughter about a year before I had Kaj. I remember going to her house and her daughter Amery would say the most hilarious things. I told Theresa she had to right them down and she said there was no way. There were just too many hilarious quotes to right all down. Now I know what she means. But I am going to try anyway.

Friday night the two guys that Skinner works with were over having happy hour in the shop. Kaj informed them that he was going to work with them in the woods on Monday. He was going to make Tortillas with sour cream, cucumbers and carrots. He was also going to bring beer and teach them spanish. Kaj just started spanish lessons at daycare.

Today Kaj was watching TV and flipping channels. He flipped on to My Little Ponies and he asked "Mom is this appropriate for me?"

On a non Kaj related note. Yesterday on February 20, 2011 was the first time that I have ever gotten a hoola hoop to work. I actually did it a couple of times in a row. Of course I have not been able to do it again today.

Saturday was Skinner's Birthday. Brandi wanted to throw a surprise party. We invited people in the morning and had the party at 4 in the afternoon. Skinner was totally surprised. It put a wonderful smile on his face that could not be wiped off. It was a nice change from his bummed out expression due to all the break downs he has had logging this winter.
