Do you know how hard it is to get out of the house some mornings!?  The routine with Kaj in the morning that works the best is Skinner carries him down stairs and lays him on the couch.  And you do not talk to him until he starts talking with you.  And then breakfast, get dressed and out the door.  But some mornings like this morning he took forever to wake up on the couch and then finally get over to eat his bagel.  Then he decided to finish his homework.  Kaj willingly working on his homework is a miricle so  it is best to let it happen but aaarrrrgh it was 7:30 and I like to be gone by 7:40.  So he almost finished his last page and then he had to poop.  AAAAARRRRGH!  7:35 and he has to poop, well you can't stop that from happening or try and rush it.  Then he went and finished his homework and finally got dressed and finally we were out the door somewhere between 7:50 and 8.

Also yesterday (Monday) he lost tooth #4 so he got a special tooth necklace for the school nurse to keep it in.  He was pretty happy about that.  He said that I could only pack him yogurt and applesauce for lunch because he doesn't have any teeth to chew with.

An update on the newest member of the house Toby.  He is adjusting well.  He hasn't snapped at Skinner in a while even when he gets into bed.  He still hates my Dad and I am not sure what to do there.  He and Eino have a great time together and Anssi tries to put an end to any fun that they might be having.  Toby's new favorite place to sleep during the day is on top of the bench in the shop.  I don't blame him it is where the sun shines in so it is probably the perfect place for a nap!
