Well Kaj got a week off to relax. Then it was Vacation Bible School which he really enjoyed this year. Finally. And next year he will get to be a helper which he has been asking for the last 3 years if he was a helper yet. They did service projects so that seemed to do good things for him. Now he is at Camp Vermillion for a couple of days with Grandpa building a pizza oven.
Brandi just started her new job at the Grand Marais Campground. She is an office clerk. Certainly not her dream job but she needs money so hopefully she will like it enough. It will be good skills for her to learn, pushes her comfort zone a bit and makes her some money. It will all be whatever she makes it. If she wants to be miserable for 2 months that is her deal. I will have to post how the summer turned out for her at the end.
The word is their brother Shane will be coming up Fisherman's Picnic weekend. We haven't seen him in a few years so that will be good. He is now working at a brewery in Texas learning how to be a brew master.
