One year

 I was told tonight it has been a year since I posted.  Bad blogger I am.

Shortly after my post last year I stepped away from the historical society for a mental health break. Then after Thanksgiving Brandi and Dave got engaged! So then we were full on to wedding planning because they were getting married February 24th! While planning a wedding they both had a couple short deployments to Belgium for Dave and Norway for Brandi. She winter camped on a mountain and played viking games. 

The wedding was amazing at the Schroeder townhall. Kaj was a groomsman and took his job very seriously. 

Not long after the wedding Brandi and Dave deployed to Japan for a 6 month stint. Brandi at the northern most base and Dave at the southern most base. They are back now and working hard on their house for a month and then back to work. 

What has Kaj been doing? School and work and hanging with friends. This summer and fall he has worked for Rick Crawford Excavating learning dirt work, cement and naughty jokes. He has loved it and plans on doing it next summer too. He will go to septic installers school this winter to get his certification. 

School wise he only has 4 classes and just 2 classes a day, only 2 of which really require some work. 

I forgot last November we lost Willis and gained a Clyde. He is a golden retriever. He is not as mellow as I hoped but he will keep Reah young.
