Grandpa took Kaj to the great Minnesota get together! They saw horses (some were taller than Grandpa even with his hand straight up in the air), old tractors, new big trucks, a cattle show, sheep....
They stayed with Doris in Duluth the night before and left at 3:30 or 4 in the morning. Kaj said he wanted to stay up all night because he wanted to wake up Grandpa in the morning but he didn't make it. On their way there they ate breakfast at Starbucks and still were stuck in traffic for an hour to park before even getting to the fair. Everyone had a great time and they stayed at Dan Olsen and Nancy Baker's house. Kaj deemed Dan a pretty cool dude and enjoyed that visit as well. Then back home Saturday with a stop at Tettegouche for a hike (a quick poop in the woods) and then ran out of gas just coming up the hill into town. A quick rescue by Mom and they were home!
